Italia for Christmas!

Guon Natale! We spent the day learning about Christmas in Italy.  Kate and Andrew took over as tour guides for the day.
Kate
La Befana gives them presents.  She is a witch.  Kids knock on the doors and sing songs.  On the shelves of the ceppo tree, they put things that are important to them.  At Christmas, they eat bread and spaghetti and lasagna.

Andrew
La Befana doesn't have a sled, but she has a rake.  Even when she doesn't look pretty, they still like her.  On Christmas, the kids knock on the door and then sing Merry Christmas.  They eat bread and spaghetti.

We made puppets of the witch, La Befana. Then we snacked on a loaf of Italian bread!
