This week we learned a new game, called Change It. You start with a word, then change 1 letter at a time, to make a new word.
We played as a class first and then played by ourselves in stations, later.
A couple weeks ago, we voted on who we'd like to come and read to our class. Coach Myers won, so she came this week and read us The Pout Pout Fish in the Big Dark.
We also worked on segmenting words. We segmented our names and then sorted them by the number of segments.
We finished up our unit on weather this week. On Tuesday we talked about clouds, so we used paper to create our own clouds. Here's what our clouds turned into...
Thursday, we had a special visitor named Dowser Dan. He taught us all about the water cycle, water conservation, and why water is important.
